Adapter ... but I do not know if that's enough electricity to run. I want all the power you drink without frying the system. And who knows how the power of magic? I bought it off eBay and are not all the information. And not everyone knows what size DC (car cigerat) lighter adapter is needed? I have tried to 12 VDC / 5 amp. adapor Radio Shack, but not often enough power to light or ... but sounded like he wanted to fire. Any help would be great.

General Electric GE CB radio receiver 40 channels. You are entitled to on the 8th AA batteries or 12 V AC CAR directly. It has built in belt.

This unit operates on 12 volts. ( "40 watts / 2 A" = 20 volts, what is BS)

8 AA batteries (8 x 1.5 = 12 V DC) and 12VDC / 5 Amp power supply not nearly enough to run it full power transmission, but not quite.

I recommend a source of power 8 10 amperes well (also 12 V DC), please go to a place that builds and sells power supplies as Radio Shack. Try some local ham radio. 12VDC current high stakes all the time.

RadioShack 12VDC/5amp The receiver should also work very well. Perhaps you have a problem of reverse polarity.

Kill tmiscomception that ... Current exceeding capacity, the power did not fry the unit ... more excitement. When the power of the device with a single 12VDC 100-amp ... works well. You lose a lot of money all the courses that you have paid and not used, but use the work and the delivery 8 to 10 ampere.

Even the power adapter for car use the same port with the same polarity (positive center is usually but not always) that the DC adapter. Wall adapters are generally not regulated voltage also varies widely and is not recommended in this application. Please use a regulated power supply circuit for stability and better performance.
